My ranking of all the games, I’d like to hear other ppls rankings
Pikmin 1: 9-10/10 at a point this was my least favorite until I tel played it and absolutely loved it, the multitasking and time management is one of the most fun things in the entire series and trying to see how few days it takes to beat the game is extremely fun, it’s so replayable I could play it multiple times a day and not get sick of it,
Pikmin 2: 8/10 I used to think this game was scummy and unfair but not really. There’s no such thing as time management in this game really, or rather no need for it, but it still enjoy it, I really like the above ground sections and wish they could be a little more fleshed out/ longer
Pikmin 3: 9-10/10 a lot of the reasons I love pikmin 1 also apply here, this has been my favorite game for most of my time in the pikmin fandom, it looks incredible and even better than 4 imo, and the mission mode is extremely fun and one of my favorite parts of the series. It’s a toss up between this and 1 for my favorite.
Pikmin 4: 6-7/10 at a time this was my favorite, but not anymore. I do still like this game and think there is no bad pikmin game, but oachi makes this game a joke, and ruins a lot of things I love about the series, there’s very few times you can effectively multitask in this game, bc half the time you just need oachi for a specific treasure, and even trying to not use him as much as possible only kinda helps, because it’s annoying to not use him. No such thing as day optimization because of night mode, which I don’t really like anyway, I do like the timer challenges/mission mode equivalent but not really dandori battle, pikmin type balance is worse than ever and the areas are intended to be done in one sitting which I don’t really like, also the caves kinda overstay their welcome imo.
