What do y’all think of my Mega Gengar team?
What do y’all think of this Mega Gengar team?
Getting back into pokemon now since I played Y as a kid, and this is my first foray into competitive. Been having some decent success with this team so far in Master Ball tier, especially compared to my Mega Greninja team which struggles to keep up.
I think metamon spam or a perish song team would be boring so I decided to build a heavy denial team. Sableye and Gengar have some great synergy together, as long as I read the opponent correctly. They can shut down any problematic pokemon quickly, especially since most people lead with one support and one offense in this meta.
A-Ninetales helps with weather disruption and an extra encore enabler in case Sableye goes down. Kingambit is my physical attacker and Reuniclus helps cover for rain teams, steel types, and just overall bulk. Corviknight is rarely used but helps offset ground moves like earthquake.
Still workshopping it as I go, just curious what y’all think.
