Evening y'all,

Had a question for any of you guys that got your jobs to pay for your education.

I've been working as a machinist since I was in highschool and finally decided I wanted to go back to school now that I can afford it and I'll be starting this Fall aiming for a Bachelor's in ME. My boss said that I could get corporate to foot a good portion of the bill with the caveat that I'd have to stay working with them for 4 years after I graduate.

Now here's my question, for those of you that went this route or know someone that did, should I be expecting to get shafted on my starting salary since I'd be a captive employee at that point? For obvious reasons I can't expect to get an honest answer out of anyone in the office but I'd like to set my expectations well in advance.
