F117 Nighthawk doing its job
Low lume right now (I work midnights obviously, haven’t been around much light for a couple hours), and the tritium glows just enough. Love it.

I recently purchased the Nighthawk F117 GMT from Costco. It’s my first tritium lume watch. The lume on this watch in general is great. The picture I posted here shows the tritium tubes around the hour markers looking great, but in real life (or maybe it’s just my eyes) the tritium isn’t as bright as I thought it would be.
Does luminox all have T25 or is this “normal” for tritium to not appear super bright I suppose? Any tips or comments or conversation would be great. I’m assuming it’s T-25, I haven’t looked on the back or researched this particular model tritium type.
Also, I doubt Costco has this long enough to a half-life of the tritium, I don’t even think this watch has been around that long if I remember correctly.
I’m a police officer and work third shift, either way even if this is the “normal” for tritium not to be very bright, I’m good with it I still love the idea and it already feels like a great and sturdy watch.
