I was involved in an accident one year ago. I was covered by auto insurance, today i received a letter from "National Service Bureau" with a claim of $10.000 letter says:

Dear xxxxxx

You have been named as the responsible party by out client STATE xxxx xxxx, for the damages caused by you against their insured's property. As of this notice date, STATE xxxx xxxx has paid $10.000 in damages on behalf of their insured and has assigned this claim to our office to pursue collections against you.

Based on the Finalcial Responsability Laws of your state, if the damages were due to the operation of a motor vehicle or if you were the owner of the vehicle, then any request for claim verification may not prevent possible suspension of your driver's license and removal of your vehicle license plate registration.

Important Insurance coverage

if you had insurance coverage on the date of loss, we encourage you to immediately contact our office with your insurance information so we can file a claim on your behalf. If you did not have insurance coverage on the date of loss, then remit your payment in full to out office at (866)533-xxxx to make payment arrangements.
