M54B30 swap Has anyone experienced this. Fresh oil pan gasket as of 2 weeks ago. Have been chasing a vacuum leak. Smoke pooring out of rear of oil pan where it meets the transmission. The gasket is brand new, RMS or throw another oil pan gasket at it?
Context i have m54b30 swapped info my E30.
Was having an idle issue with the ac on, when coming to a stop the car would surge and sometimes turn off. Suspected a bad vacuum leak. Replaced 4 caps on capped off vaccum ports. Idle issue has gone away but there is still smoke coming out from behind manifold. I'm suspecting a crack what do you guys think?
Updating in what my ride height looks like after the car settled. You guys were right definitely made a difference. I feel the rear end is where I want it to be and front end looks better too.

Hello just got finished installing Koni sport shocks with h&r sport springs. Previously the car had einbach springs with Bilstein b8. I also got new wheels for the whole thing 16x7. Is this monster ride height or respectable daily driver ride height. Previous set up was about an Inch lower and I'm missing it a little.

I know the brake pads never fully separate from the rotor but this seems like excessive drag. Any opinions/help?
Does anyone have any tips on Installing new front sway bar bushings. I have febi Bilstein rubber bushings I'm trying to install and they are so tight that I can't get the hole to line up on the subframe. Any advice would be appreciated.
