Was this worth losing sleep over?

Not shilling anything before the mob come for me, but I built something over the last few months that took way longer to get right than I'd like to admit, and before I do anything with it I just want to know if I've wasted precious sleep or not.

how the hell do you get your first 10 clients?

Long story short, I built a SaaS tool to help my mate speed up his quoting process. He loves it and uses it regularly.

I did a deep dive into the problem and it's genuinely common with no real lightweight alternative out there. Clear gap in the market.

So I came to Reddit to a) validate whether the need is actually widespread and b) see if anyone wants to try it completely free in exchange for honest feedback.

I've also reached out to companies directly via email. Nothing.

The second anyone sniffs a hint of SaaS or anything that looks remotely like a sale, you get treated like you've kidnapped their child 😂

I'm not even asking for money. I know the product solves a real problem. I just need people to actually try it.

Has anyone been in this position before? What actually worked for you?
