Mission Impossible on an 80-foot-wide screen Tuesday 5/19

Harkins Northfield is showing Mission Impossible on their massive 80-foot-wide CINE XL screen in 4K laser projection and Dolby Atmos Tuesday, May 19 at 7:00 PM. (For less than ten bucks!)

This is particularly awesome because most chains stick classics on tiny screens that aren't worth leaving home for.

The CINE XL is the modern equivalent of classic Denver movie palaces like the Continental and Cooper. It's the best screen in Colorado. Picture and sound are top-notch.

Harkins shows only 10-12 minutes of trailers and they attract well-behaved crowds.

(I'm not affiliated with Harkins in any way - just a proponent of seeing classics on the biggest screens.)

This screen is as tall as Blucifer.

The Preservation of Species is my post-apocalyptic sci-fi monster horror trilogy.

If that's your jam, check out this new video review. (It’s a review of book 3, but it covers the whole trilogy and doesn’t spoil anything.)

"From apocalyptic survival to first contact to something far bigger, this trilogy has been a wild ride. But does the finale deliver? Does it answer the big questions? And most importantly… is it worth your time?"
