Black folks that moved away, how are things?

Greetings and good afternoon. I am currently debating whether I should move or not. I wanted to hear stories and experiences of black people who moved away? How do you like your new home? Do you miss Minneapolis? And are things better in your new spot compared to here in the upper Midwest?

Wolves up, hoes down

The strength of the wolf is the pack. As a pack we ride or die together. Shitting on the team while we still are playing a series has got to be the most pathetic act of throwing in the towel.

When the series is over go ahead, talk your shit. But this is just admission you’ve given up already. I’m rooting for all these guys to win. You’re better off not watching the games if you’re not going to support the team.

Go Wolves, don’t go out without a fight.

Ex Muslim here, please don’t try and covert me back I respectfully will decline. I am wondering if any of you still practice? It would be nice to know what those who still have a spiritual practice without a title live their lives so I don’t feel as lost.

I don’t really consider myself a Muslim anymore, but I still am inclined to do some of the things I did before. It like doing daily prayer and meditation, I want to put spiritually geometry in my artwork and read spiritual texts. Life is just better this way. I take from a wide variety of sources and don’t consider any text to be absolute, I just do my own thing. I used have a drinking problem and I find my lifestyle keeps me away from the booze without a religious label or affiliation.

▲ 10 r/BigXII

TUCSON AZ - The Arizona Wildcats had their best season in 25 years by making their first Final Four since 2001. In the second season of Big XII tenure, the Cats won the regular season conference championship, and the tournament championship. They started their season going 23-0 and finished beating ranked opponents 14-3. The final record after postseason was 36-3. Losing to the eventual national champs is nothing to stew about, it wasn’t the way we wanted the season to end, but doesn’t take away from what this team accomplished. Raise your heads up high Wildcats, don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened. We’re in good hands with Tommy Lloyd and company, the future is bright.
