Skin spot
heyo.
so my dog has a skin spot behind his ear. he's had it before when we first adopted him but it looked more like a lumpy blister. they had tested it then and it was non-cancerous and said to come back if it reappeared. never did but a similar bump/scab/dry spot did appear on the other side in the same spot. now it's back on the same original side almost a year later and it started off as just a sort of bald/dry spot and has grown to this in the last week or two. we did recently change his diet from salmon heavy to chicken heavy (no grain) but he's never shown any other reactions to chicken when he was on his salmon heavy diet. he did randomly get skin irritation while on his salmon diet too but nothing chronic or concerning.
this one is just concerning because it never showed blood initially, just a bald patch. and he's not an itchy dog/no signs elsewhere. so it is weird this one spot is now getting scabby.
ring worm?
