Petunia the tiny turtle

I'd like to introduce my new little desk mate, Petunia, the tiny turtle. 🐢

Using a nice tin that I had around, I freehand crocheted two panels, glued them into the tin and then added a turtle. The little bushes are pieces I snipped from a fancy fuzzy yarn. The clouds are a little fiberfill woven into the panel. Fin. 😊

Pattern: none, everything is freehand

Materials: 2.5mm hook and DK weight yarn

I spotted this image in an article on Modern Day Knitting about "Keeping the hand in hand knitting". Is the image meant to be ironic?

No chair/seat. What is behind her? Her project is levitating while she kinda works on another? 🤔

Do people even look at these AI generated images before they post them?
