Honestly, what would Vox do if Lucifer didn't fall for his trap?
Does his entire war plan just fail? Or does all of Hell just wait until he catches Lucifer in some booby trap? They kind of need him to wage war on Heaven.

“This rich, white, lesbian nepobaby is just like Jesus! Actually, she is cooler than Jesus!”
My guy, Charlie allows one of her closest friends to be raped and abused on a daily basis. Jesus fucked up moneylenders for daring to do their business in a temple.
Jesus actually used his power to help people and heal the sick, Charlie just fucks around in her Hotel and gets people killed.
Remove useless side characters like Charlie and the redemption subplot that goes nowhere. Make Alastor the main character. Set up a bracket, define the power system and put restrictions in place, set up a power hierarchy, and give us fights every episode. We need more power scaling and less songs. More killing and violence. Let the tournament occupy the last 3 seasons with 30 episodes and then never reach a conclusion. It’s the only way to save a show that has lost its plot.
In the first episode of season 2, Emily literally pops right in front of Charlie in an instant, and then just leaves. The implications here are insane and it mean that other strong angels like Sera and Abel can just open a portal to instantly access anywhere and anyone in Hell so that means Vox could honestly be very quickly detained or subdued. Couldn't they just sneak up on Vox in the finale when he was going crazy with the cannon? They take him down, the Might of Lilith doesn't overheat and less people die. I feel like they have a lot of uses in combat, in season 1 Adam could have just zipped back to Heaven and then open a portal behind Lucifer and Charlie and then one tap them with a light beam.
