Hi everyone, I’m in a bit of a panic and would really appreciate advice from anyone who has been in a similar situation or has relevant knowledge.

My situation:

•	Currently on a Graduate visa expiring 26/04/2026 — 7 days from now

•	I have a confirmed job offer as a Software Test Engineer with a licensed sponsor

•	The original CoS was assigned but had to be withdrawn due to an administrative error on the New Entrant field

•	Employer submitted a priority allocation request to UKVI on 13 April to enable a new corrected CoS to be issued

•	They have been sending daily priority emails since Monday with no response

•	No dependants

My questions:

1.	Has anyone successfully had a UKVI allocation request approved urgently in similar circumstances — how long did it take?

2.	Is there any legitimate way to protect my leave beyond April 26 while waiting for the allocation without leaving the UK?

3.	Is there anything else I or my employer should be doing right now that we haven’t thought of?
