Here are the most important specs between them. Seems like a good upgrade but they don't fold. I was hoping the new model would fold but they don't

Edit: I did use AI who cares. Instead of discussing the differences some of you are more worried about AI. AI gets the information on the same websites that already have the leaked information about the headphones. I see no problem there

Sony got new headphones coming this month and they will cost $650 or $600. They can fold like the XM6 it seems like from the picture. No more complaining about them breaking now

Sony must have a better build quality for the XM7 but it will cost more and heavier. I agree with the people that are complaining about the headphones breaking and the plastic is cheap, for $450 it's stupid. I have previous Sony headphones and none of them break though

I have been using the XM4, XM5 and now I own 2 XM6. All of them look new and no problem because I protect them. They are $450 headphones I'm not going to throw them around the house or keep dropping it on the floor or let young kids use them

My point is the headphones are very fragile and can break easily, don't let your elementary school kids use them or they will not last long. It's your headphones you can use however you want but if you want them to last longer you'll have to protect them

The new headphones that are coming this year fix that problem but they will cost $600 I heard. That is very expensive and they don't even fold

I have been using this headphone for a couple months and it's good, not great. I love how light it is but the plastic feels very cheap, even cheaper than the XM4. The sound and ANC are great and better than the XM4

I heard about all the complaints and lawsuits that happened with the XM5 and XM6, none of my headphones ever broke so I'm speaking for myself there's no issues for me. Sony must fix the hinges problems with the XM7 and make it more metal or use tougher plastic

1. Great sounds. Better than XM5/XM4

2. Cheap plastic. For $450 it's bad

3. It's light and feels so cheap

4. The buttons are in the right spot

5. It gets my ears hot after hours

I rate it 6/10. Cheap plastic for $450 is a big no. Great sounds and great ANC, too many complaints about the hinges breaking fast. Too expensive for what it offers. This headphone should cost $300 in my opinion

Someone asked the other day why I never showed the XM6 but only the XM4. Well there you go haha, just because I only show the XM4 doesn't mean I don't own more headphones.
