Using an iPad as external monitor for a GrapheneOS Pixel?
I'd love to have a modern tablet running GrapheneOS for when I am on the go.
Currently there's only one supported device: Pixel Tablet (tangorpro) from 2023 that is no longer available to buy and refurbished/used ones are extremely expensive where I live and not worth it for the older meh hardware.
I'd like to avoid carrying an external monitor and simply use a modern iPad as the bigger screen if needed, that otherwise can be used as a regular iPad.
- the newer Pixel phones support DisplayPort Alt Mode
- iPadOS doesn't support video input via USB-C for external devices
- Bluetooth mouse/keyboard are used as primary input methods during such a use case.
the only solution that possible works is an App based (example Duet Display) on both devices, with a wired or network connection.
the Luna Display dongle and apps don't work, as there is no Android based app from them.
Anybody using such a setup or have another solution?
