Seeing whats out there in Tampa/ sarasota area for OSP splicing company's pay/benefits ect.

Basically what the title says, seeing whats out there, family and I are interested in making a change from Ohio to Western part of Florida Tampa/Sarasota area. I have total of 14 years in the field between copper (coax) fiber, and cat5. Looking maybe in the next year or sooner if the timing is right. More less want W-2 job. My company provides truck trailer also decent benefits as well as profit sharing. Pay here is $33/h. Just wanted to see and hear from the Flordia guys in here and get a idea of what pay/life balance is. Appreciate it. Below is some of the things I do on a daily basis thank you

Perform high-precision splicing of 200-micron and 250-micron fiber optic cables, including singles,

ribbon and spider ribbon configurations, for major providers like Verizon, Windstream, AT&T

Amazon.

- Successfully splice up to 3,456 single fibers, ensuring optimal performance for macrocell and small cells

sites and business environments.

- Install and configure fiber optic panels (288–3,456 ports) in diverse settings, meeting strict

quality and safety standards.

- Utilize FTB-2 OTDR for advanced troubleshooting, resolving complex fiber optic issues to

maintain network integrity.
