Filoniverse Saga
In celebration of "Maul: Shadow Lord" and with two more exciting Filoniverse releases on the horizon this year, I thought it was time to revisit my popular animated edits.
"The Filoniverse" refers to the Star Wars projects produced by Dave Filoni. Filoni's work is, I feel, special in that it tells a larger unified story which perfectly compliments, expands and enriches "The Skywalker Saga".
Much of Filoni's work feels inaccessible to casual audiences however. Especially as the bulk of these projects are animated, with substantial chunks geared toward younger audiences. This is a shame, because the later live action Filoniverse entries are often harder to appreciate or invest in without experiencing the full story.
My "Clone Wars Saga" and "Rebels Film Quadrilogy" have proven to be excellent starting points for fans and newcomers wanting to get into the Filoniverse, and as such, I decided to create a more complete package.
My goal with "The Filoniverse Saga" is to present the Filoni series in a more traditional, accessible and unified narrative experience for adult viewers.
This release includes:
- The previous "Clone Wars Saga", 9 films covering the series, with a revised episode 9. These revisions seek to improve the previous release by trimming its weakest elements (Ahsoka's time with Trace and Raffa) and replacing it instead with scenes that serve to better close out the Clone Wars. These include a new opening scene, with additional scenes and montages throughout using footage from "Tales of the Empire", 'Tales of the Underworld" and "The Bad Batch". My previously released "The Bad Batch Trilogy" is not included in the recommended watch order, as I feel it is tangential to the more focused narrative otherwise on offer here.
-The previously released "Star Wars Rebels Film Quadrilogy".
-5 new films packaged as "The New Republic Saga". These cover "The Mandalorian", "Book of Boba" and "Ahsoka". For the longest time I have been referring my viewers to other edits for the live action Disney+ shows, as mine were not released. Now I'm changing that. These new edits are nothing original, as they're heavily derived from what I feel are the best ideas among existing edits, with my own additions and ideas which make these the organic sequels to Parts 1 and 2 of the saga.
-A watch order (pictured above), demonstrating how to view my "Filoniverse Saga" with The Skywalker Saga. My edits for the Skywalker Saga are not included or released at present.
-And finally, a second watch order, expanding that list to include the other projects that I feel expand and enrich this focused narrative experience. Other unreleased edits are again pictured here. I trust audiences will enjoy watching the original releases or their preferred fanedit of these titles at the appropriate places in their viewing.

How to watch:
All edits are posted on the Fanedit Network
If you request one, the response will include the rest.
Simply search “Galadantien” and email me with subject line “REQUEST:” plus the title of the edit exactly as listed in the database. e.g. “REQUEST: The Clone Wars Saga”. Easiest to "copy this box directly into your subject header. Done right you’ll get an automated reply. I also respond to PMs, but its tedious to avoid reddit bans when replying to these.
As with all fanedits, you agree by watching that you have an active Disney+ subscription or own home media copies of the relevant seasons in order to watch.
Technical:
All the films are in 1080p MP4, HEVC, AAC 5.1 and HDR. Highly compressed versions converted from a 4K source on max quality. Individual cover images are included, embedded in the file metadata. These will show up in Plex libraries.
