Professional printer recommendations
I own a stationery shop and make stickers, paper pads, etc. Early on I used to make everything myself, I now manufacture most of my products. However, I do want to go back to printing some paper products myself but I have no clue how to improve the quality of at home print: Do I need a better printer, better ink, a completely different setup, or am I just being unrealistic about what’s possible at home?
I’m looking for a premium look. I love something my manufacturer offers called “special oil” effect which is still matte but has this beautiful, almost reflective layer. Is it possible to achieve that effect outside of large manufacturing conditions?
For reference on current setup, I ow a couple of canon pixma, use original cartridges, always use high quality, specialty paper. Willing to invest a bit for the right equipment.
