Talk about spending money in the wrong places haha! Obviously the phone and iPad are the most expensive parts but I just record music for fun in my bedroom and don’t really have the money or space for a load more guitars.

Not quite sure I’d call it NuMetal but it was heavily inspired by KoRn and Deftones among others but here’s an example excerpt from a song I made yesterday. Recorded on my phone using GarageBand, tuned my guitar and bass to drop A and used the OTG on my Modeler to record direct to my phone. Thoughts?

There’s definitely bits that I’ve repeated too much and could do to shave a minute or two off this like but any other notes? Didn’t really put any time into mixing it so it’s very rough around the edges

Never been one to write songs prior to recording, I just end up noodling about and seeing what works, hence why some of the sections aren’t cohesive with the rest of the song but I’m having a lot of fun playing around atm. Got some weird KoRn/Limp Bizkit vibe going on today

Trying to get back into making at least 1 track a week to get the creative juices flowing. Early days yet but I’m enjoying myself, regardless of how good or bad the end result sounds
