I'm developing my own take on Animal Farm

You didn't misread it(I think), I'm developing my own take on Animal Farm. The main characters will be the equines, mainly a young stallion named Trevor, who sees Boxer as a father/older brother figure, he is essentially a gender swapped Clover. I intend it to become a trilogy, with Trevor leading a resistance against the pigs. I'll also hold no punches, it'll be very edgy and political.

I made a post to discuss how long the series would last after the 100th soulmate shows up, but then someone made a comment saying he hopes the series ends with Rentaro picking one of them but remaining friends with the others. This made emotional damage. The comment was deleted, but I can't unread that, now I'm genuinely worried about it

They basically gave Clover's role to Benjamin, even with Clover still there(at least I think the white horse is Clover, it's probably not Molly) she barely does anything

I think it would be no surprise if the series ended with Rentaro fathering hundreds of kids with the girls, that could even lead to a "next gen follow up"(a good one, unlike most of them) what do you guys think?
