We use custom firmware that supports plug-and-play, requiring no additional GPIO configuration.

In this video, we'll show you how to set up timers for your WLED controller. With timer settings, you can easily automate different lighting effects—for example, turning on the lights in the morning, switching to a rainbow mode in the evening, and changing to a soft night light before bedtime.
Simple to set up. Give it a try!

This clip demonstrates a useful feature of WLED: the ability to set both text and dynamic effects simultaneously in the app, and display them together on a single LED matrix.

This not only makes the visual output more vibrant and engaging, but also greatly expands the potential use cases. You can use it to show welcome messages, real-time information, or other text, while pairing it with particle, flow, or other animations as a background—making it easy to create dynamic information boards, creative signage, or compact ambient displays.

For the Elite Ethernet controller, we recommend using the custom firmware available on Gledopto GitHub repository https://github.com/GLEDOPTO/WLED/releases to ensure optimal performance and compatibility.

If the light strip fails to turn on after a correct firmware upgrade, it may be due to configuration loss. Please try reconfiguring the device—set the relay to GPIO18, enable the invert option, and then perform a power cycle (unplug and reconnect the power).
