Dealer has noted that my 2016 Crosstrek needs control arm bushings replaced for "splitting". Mix of photos here from them and also from when I went under the car to take photos. What I see is stress cracking on the exterior of the bushings.
How serious is this issue? Worst case scenario, if the bushing were to completely split, would I lose control of the vehicle?
