Job Market for Primary School Teaching?

Hey everyone, I’m contemplating doing a M. Of Teaching (Primary) and was wondering what the job market looks like these days? For reference, I’m hoping to live in one of the capital cities or Newcastle for work. My experience is limited to early childhood education, being ECT accredited but only working at an educator level at this stage. I’m thinking of taking a break from the profession due to what’s happening in the industry at the moment. I’m also considering doing some work as a primary school tutoring while studying mteach to gain some experience. With all of this, is primary school teaching a part of the teaching shortage at the moment or is this mostly high school? I understand rural areas are always looking, but I’m quite curious to see what it’s like in metro or city environments? I’m currently residing in Sydney but happy to move to any of the capital cities for work.
