Doing the step by step sweater and have just got to the hem ribbing (was doing sooo well and I think I got cocky) - the rib ain’t ribbing. I did a set up round of stockinette on smaller needles like a did for the collar and then K and P alternate stitches for the ribbing. When I got to the end of the first rib round I knit into the knit stitches and purled into the purl stitches. I thought it looked stretched out so am putting it on shorter cables but it looks nothing like the neck ribbing. What have I done wrong?? Argh. Will it be easy to unravel it back to the beginning of the rib if needed? I was doing SO WELL.
