I run a web design & Development agency called aetherstudios.in , and over the past few months I’ve reviewed a lot of business websites — especially for restaurants, gyms, dental clinics, and local services.

Honestly, most of them are losing customers without realizing it.

Here are the biggest mistakes I keep seeing:

  1. No clear CTA above the fold

People land on the site and don’t know what to do next.

Fix: Add a strong “Book Now / Get Quote” button immediately.

  1. Slow and unoptimized design

Heavy animations, bad mobile experience.

Fix: Focus on speed + mobile-first design.

  1. Generic templates with no branding

A lot of sites look like copy-paste themes.

Fix: Custom layouts, better typography, and real brand identity.

  1. No trust signals

No reviews, no before/after, no real proof.

Fix: Add testimonials, ratings, and case studies.

  1. Bad landing page structure

Most websites don’t guide users — they just “exist.”

Fix: Structure pages like a funnel, not just sections.

I’ve been redesigning a few websites recently, and the difference in conversions is honestly crazy once these are fixed.

If anyone here is working on a website and wants feedback, I don’t mind taking a quick look and suggesting improvements.
