As the title says I came to the US to work at a summer camp, quit one week in, left found a flight and left one week after the fact. Was in America for a total of 2 weeks, with this in mind I asked my agency if my visa had been terminated they said no, although they didn’t use official language they just said “your program was cancelled because you did not complete the program / and your visa had ended early” with this I asked would I be ineligible for future visas she said no you’ll be fine. So I’m asking now, what was the status I was in following the week I was waiting for my flight. In my head I felt like I had overstayed as they didn’t mention a 30 day grace period she told me to leave ASAP. Was I in status or out of status that week and am I eligible for an esta going forward? Thanks
