Got a ps4 pro off eBay that comes between 6.50 and 7.51, should I stay at whatever firmware it comes with or update to 9.00?

And, I’ve been having a really hard time figuring out wether I’ll need a computer for back ports or if it can all be done via FTP from IOS like I do with my ps3, will I need a cheap laptop for back ports?

I really don’t mind buying the BD online, but I’m mainly just looking for the best and most stable exploit along with the best firmware version on PS4

Side question: Can ps5’s use FPKG’s yet or is still useless to jailbreak a ps5 unless it’s for shits and giggles to mess with debug settings?
