I’m not on birth control at the moment because I had been celibate for more than a year and hated the nuvaring and can’t be on the pill because of my migraines. I met a guy and became sexually active (using a condom) again and want to get back on some form of birth control but my period is late, I tested a week ago and then again yesterday, both negative. I’m in the US in a state where abortion is illegal, but am aware of resources but I would need to act fast so I’m nervous. My period is about 9 days late at this point but I will say I’ve been in a stressful transition period which tends to affect my cycle pretty intensely. Any advice on next steps would be greatly appreciated
