I’m a Tunisian student planning to study in Europe (Computer Science / Engineering), and I’m trying to decide between Poland and Italy.

I’d really appreciate honest, detailed insights—especially from international (non-EU) students.

Here’s my situation:

  • Non-EU (Tunisian)
  • Planning to study in English
  • Long-term goal: build a career in Europe after graduation

I have a few specific questions:

  1. How is the quality of education in Poland (especially in tech fields)? Is it practical or mostly theoretical?
  2. How difficult is it for non-EU students to get part-time jobs while studying?
  3. After graduation, how hard is it to find a job and stay legally in Poland?
  4. Is the language barrier (Polish) a serious problem for daily life and work?
  5. Compared to Italy, would you say Poland is a better or worse choice overall for someone in my situation?
