There's lots of stuff about Scots words and local slang, so sorry if this is a topic done to death.

In b&q earlier and the woman at a free checkout had to say to me a few times before I realised she was calling me over. I said, "sorry, I was in a dwam". From the context I think she knew what I meant, but in saying it, I don't ever remember anyone but my folks and my sister using 'dwam'.

I asked my missus and she'd never heard of the word.

Anyway, I always enjoy hearing folks of the words and phrases they use, but they're unsure if anyone else does. Or, just general words and phrases that are Scots/localised, that you particularly love to use
