2013 mustang gt. 6 speed
I took the car to a "trusted" performance shop. I had a paxton 2200sl kit installed, as well as
-maxflow race bov
-boss 302 manifold
-id1050x injectors
- Brisk plugs
-dw400 fuel pump
-vmp bap
-mcleoud rst clutch
-dss 1 piece aluminum ds
I was told the car was ready. I picked it up. Within 15 miles of driving the car died when I came to a stop. The car started up and drove ok. I attempted to do a small pull in 3rd gear and the car bucked and felt like it cut fuel before recatching. At this point the car did not idle well. It was consistently dying out. It almost sounded as if there was a misfire.
Now obviously it was brought back to the shop the next day. They've had it almost 2 weeks now. They said they believe the battery is weak and the car is dropping voltage when the fan kicks on.
Has anyone run into this issue before?????? (Battery causing issues with a paxton car)
My car has been at a shop for 5 weeks and the communication from them is lacking to say the least. Im ready to go pick it up and tackle the issue myself.
