My husband has TBI,PTSD,MDD,Migraines and other physical injuries from combat in 2003-2005. He was 80 percent effective the day after separation. Then permanently and totally tdiu in 2009. Suicidal crisis events began around 2010 and inpatient va treatment off and on since. I have been his va caregiver since 2014 to current for daily supervision for safety. Despite the obvious requirement for the caregiver program.…That we are enrolled in for over 12 years !!! Aid and attendance has been denied since 2023. Does anyone has any insight? If so please share with us.
