Had our Saniflo XR Pro serviced a month ago because there was a small amount of water flowing back up into shower.

Was told it was a design flaw, shower tray too low, which I think is correct. The service did help the issue but not totally stop it.

A week later started making loud noises, then wouldn’t turn off. So I got back to the service guy, who said he can’t come till next week. So turned it all off and emptied toilet bowl as Google said.

The bathroom has not been used once since then.

However, a week later, we then get water pouring through the ceiling and light fitting and the toilet bowl full.

Ive managed to stop this now thanks to emergency plumber who questioned whether it had actually been serviced properly. He’s left the toilet disconnected and the saniflow still blocked (didn’t have the equipment on him)

If the bathroom hasn’t been used, what is causing water to keep going into it?

I think maybe they connected the combi boiler also on that floor (all on top floor loft conversion)?
