Yesterday one of my high school students decked me in the face; I have a split lip, etc. I was able to get away but had to hide out in an office as he was looking through windows and banging on doors looking for me. In the process a teacher was bitten with a gnarly bruise and it was a whole huge situation. Nothing came of it- he was at school today like nothing happened and multiple people tried to tell me he’s calm today, just come back to class. I refused- but seriously- nothing.
I attempted to talk to the school resource officer- but he was in meetings and unavailable. I then called the district police line and feel like I’ve been shrugged off cause he is in sped.
Anyone go down this route? Any advice?
Last fall when he bit me and broke skin nothing came of it all.
