I wonder if anyone has had similar situation: my cat’s paw bled one day and left stains on my bedsheet. After investigating I noticed it was his paw’s quick that seemed to be a bit dislocated and bled when he scratched the cat post. I brought him to the vet multiple times and was assured that it didn’t seem to be serious and was given advice on buying Kwik-stop powder to treat it, which I did. But the powder only helps stop the bleeding, which l, even without the powder, stops soon. It is kinda reoccurring every time he scratched the post too hard, but other than bleeding a bit it never seemed to bother him at all - no licking no sign of pain etc. would genuinely appreciate advice and shared experience on this.
