Theres been a pair of magpies nesting in the conifers a few doors down since id say early march at least. They were ever present and then disappeared a few weeks ago. Now they are back this week or at least a new pair is and they are building a new nest as we speak in the tree next to our fence line. Im not really pleased about this as i find the fledlings annoying but its not even in my garden. Im more concerned about them to be honest from research they shouldnt be building nests this time of year. Could something have happened to their old nest? the conifers are intact nothing seems to have happened from a human interference perspective.
