Hyperspace Music major update is finally here (Quest 2 tested)
After a long and difficult period in life, including going through a breakup while developing solo, I’m genuinely happy to say this update is finally done. It’s been hard staying focused through everything, but I kept pushing because I believed this app could become something special.
Hyperspace Music is more than just a mp3 music player now.

New features:
- Passthrough mode now working and tested on Meta Quest 2 See the real world around you in predator-style colours while your music visuals play over the top.
- Haptics mode Feel the beat through your controllers and experience your music physically.
- Improved overlay shader + camera activation A major breakthrough update for mixed reality mode.
IMPORTANT - How to use your own music:
- Add your MP3 files into the default Music folder on the headset
- Go into app settings on your headset
- Allow all requested permissions
- Launch the app and enjoy
PLEASE ALLOW ALL PERMISSIONS - MP3 PLAYBACK WON'T WORK WITHOUT IT.
I built this because I wanted something different — a futuristic space to escape into with your own music.
