The first day we had our new CX-5 premium plus with that large screen, we had problems. The sales person at Ed Howard Mazda in charge of training new owners on the use of the big beautiful touch screen had no earthly idea what she was doing. Let's try this, let's try that. We were getting error messages, the screen froze, went blank and was marginally useful. We brought it back for service and were told there is a bug in the technology that Mazda knows (knew about before release???) about and is developing a fix. The current suggestions is shut off the car to reboot (pretty tough while driving on the interstate) and if that does not work, go under the hood and disconnect one of the battery terminals (right!! Not!!). We've contacted corporate and awaiting for some positive news (maybe a new car?) BTW this is our second CX-5. We loved our 2023. We should have bought it off lease. Now (we were told off the record) Ed Howard's friend is enjoying our baby and were are struggling with a dud!! We are so disappointed. Our next call might be to our attorney.
