Hey everyone, I’m an incoming freshman this Fall at UH and had a quick question about waitlists.

Right now I’m #2 on the waitlist for two classes. Since it’s still a few months out, I’m not sure if I should just stay on the waitlist or go ahead and swap them for other classes.

From your experience, do people usually drop these kinds of classes closer to the semester? Is being #2 a pretty safe spot, or should I not risk it?

Just trying to make the best decision for my first semester. Any advice would really help!
