A trailer with no tail lights after dark

Last night I left the house at 8pm to pick my daughter up from the movies. It was pouring rain and the road I took had a bridge and no street lamps. I crest the bridge and as I'm coming down, I see only the stoplight and darkness. Suddenly, the back of a boat comes into focus! There's no emergency lane, just a concrete barrier, so brakes were the only option and they immediately locked up. My car tried to fishtail but I corrected it. It kept sliding so I released and reapplied the brake but still got no traction. I managed to stop a few feet from the boat, realizing it was a complete fkn idiot pulling a boat on a trailer with NO tail lights. I don't remember ever feeling scared, JUST PISSED as I slid along.
