hi! i’m a student from the philippines and i’ve been wanting to apply to ivy league schools, but i honestly feel really lost about the whole process.
i get good grades and i’ve been doing my best to stay consistent, but i know that’s not enough on its own. i’m currently trying to figure out what extracurriculars i should get into and how people even find shadowing or internship opportunities here. on top of that, i’ve been looking into the common app and it just feels overwhelming, especially trying to understand each part of it and what i’m supposed to put where.
i’m also the first person in my family to try applying to an ivy league, so i don’t really have anyone to guide me through this. it’s been a dream of mine for a long time and i’m willing to put in the work, i just don’t know how to start or what steps to take first.
