▲ 90 r/peonies

Last fall I got some peony roots that I was told were white. Being a transplant year, I only let one bud develop on the strongest transplant and it’s definitely not white. Any guesses on what it could be?

The 4 best transplants got planted in permanent locations, but I planted the small pieces of roots in a temporary spot. I probably have. 6-8 viable plants. They’re planted too close together and in too much shade. This fall I’d like to either move them to permanent locations or sell/trade them for white peonies.

If anyone is in Central Illinois I’m looking for:
4x White Peonies (bloom alongside Sarah B)
2x Sarah B
3x Coral Charm
3x Pink Hawaiian
2x Candy Stripe
2x Red (haven’t decided on variety)
