Located in Illinois. I am curious as to the standards regarding the impediment of delivery robots in Illinois. I have seen posts in which commenters suggest placing large objects in the way of/standing in the way of/blocking in some way the path of the delivery robots while on their route and I am curious as to what the legal ramifications of this are. I suppose I would expect there to be a law in which this might qualify as an obstruction of commerce of some kind, but I, possibly naively, would expect that there might also be a defense in the fact that they tend to operate almost exclusively on public sidewalks.

TLDR: what are the laws in IL surrounding blocking the path of delivery robots?
