Will I get Firodia?

So, in the worst case scenario I'm getting 95 marks, and my last good option is Firodia law college.

Will I get it with 95 marks as a MS general male student?

Won't the percentile drop because CLAT students who also got good marks in MHCET won't take it?

Incoming Fresher at VIT Chennai: Brutal honesty needed on CSE AI/ML vs. Robotics vs. Quantum Computing. Seniors please help!

I’ll be joining VIT Chennai and I need to make a final decision on my specialization.

Honestly, I’m a bit anxious about how the job market will look in 4 years with AI advancing so fast, and I want to make sure I pick a branch that actually gives me an edge (or at least a good safety net) for placements.

I’d really appreciate some ground-reality checks from 3rd and 4th-year students at the Chennai campus.

A few specific doubts:

  1. How much time is actually spent on the specialization? I know VIT follows FFCS, so out of the 160 credits, are these specializations just 5-6 extra subjects in the 3rd year? Do they genuinely change the degree, or are we basically 85% normal CSE students?
  2. Quantum Computing: This sounds extremely cool, but is it just a buzzword at VIT-C right now? Do we actually have dedicated faculty who know the math, or is it basically just doing IBM Qiskit cloud simulations and self-studying?
  3. Robotics: I feel like hardware + software integration is more "AI-proof." Are the physical labs and sensors actually good at the Chennai campus, or is it mostly theoretical?
  4. AI/ML: Is the market just way too saturated at this point? Does the curriculum actually teach the hardcore math behind neural networks, or is it just basic Python libraries?
  5. The Placement Reality: When companies come in 4th year, do they actually care about these specific tags (like hunting for a Quantum or Robotics guy)? Or does everyone just end up grinding DSA/Leetcode and fighting for the exact same standard SDE roles?

Any advice, warnings, or professor reviews would be a massive help. Thanks in advance!

What were the answers for arguments?

I don't remember all the questions

  1. Lower Public Transport tickets:
    a. Yes, more people will come
    b. No, government will lose money

  2. ?Environment? As a Subject.
    a. Yes, they'll learn from childhood.
    b. No, they have too much to study already.

  3. i think it was related to gambling/lottery as a government, should they stop it or smtg.
    a. Yes, (forgot the reason)
    b. No, because they'll lose the revenue.

Please help dawg !!
I think 1 - both, 2- both, 3 - just first.
