A mother booked a trial, and it’s a couple hours before. She is trying to force me into using unsound methods by doing no comprehension and just writing with her daughter. At this age, we write based on comprehension of a story. But she has another tutor doing only comprehension? Then she sends me some old worksheet from her son to use for her daughter in a couple hours that has an accompanying video it’s based on which I of course don’t have and which involves…comprehension of that story in the video. Because of the time box, I cannot cancel this trial that I already know I do not want to take on as a student/parent. Whenever parents try to steer pedagogy, it’s a disaster. Preply should not be forcing me to take on trial students like this. I have a support ticket created. If it isn’t accepted or resolved with a cancel before the time, I’m forced into this?! Sometimes I cannot stand this platform.

Has anyone else gotten this pending issue? A day or two ago I got it and they cleared it up right away. Now I am attempting again and same thing. Does anyone know why this happens bc I haven’t gotten an answer as to what the problem is. I haven’t done anything on my end to cause an issue at all.
Hi, I’m a tutor and in the past 24 hours I am not getting in app or push notifications to my phone, only emails. I don’t get anything in my message threads with students when they subscribe or schedule. Support is saying nothing is wrong but I have never been lacking all notifications before and honestly support can never admit if something is indeed wrong anyway. Has anyone had any issues? I would say I would just reinstall but it’s not just app, but also web. Appreciate it
