I’m done. . . What is the point of support?
I did an order this morning at a McDonalds. Is it just my area or do your McDonalds also “reset” their system around 3:30-4:30am?. . . I know it’s stupid to dash then. But I couldn’t sleep and I like that there is not traffic.
Anyways, I called support. I talked to AI Jane and reported that the store is not accepting orders. She said she would cancel and it was ok to leave. So I did. But the order did not fall off my app. So I called back and yelled to talk to a real person. Not only was my support lady not helpful, she blamed me for the issue. I said - I went to the store- the store said they are not doing orders - I called support. Apparently I should have stayed on the line and confirmed with a real person? She kept telling me I should have reported it in the app. I thought that’s what I did when I called AI Jane. 😑
She unassigned me from the order apparently no penalty to my score but I didn’t get any payment. She called the restaurant and the McDonald’s said the “order is now ready”. When I was there 10 minutes ago and they told me their system was down for another 30 min. I’m so freaking done with DD. Not worth the gas money for a company to literally does not have your back.
