I’ve been working on a temp mail for the past couple of months and wanted to share my progress + get some honest advice from people who’ve built similar tools.

  • March: ~6.6K users
  • April: ~11K users roughly 60–70% growth in a month

But here’s something interesting:

  • Views (March): ~29K
  • Views (April): ~30K users increased a lot, but views barely changed

Traffic is mostly global (Bangladesh, Nigeria, some Europe, etc.), and the usage pattern is simple:
people come → generate email → check OTP

I’ve added Adsterra ads, but honestly:

  • earnings are very low
  • not really growing with traffic
  • feels like I might be doing something wrong (placement or network)

Right now I’m confused about the next step:

Should I focus on increasing traffic first (SEO, scaling users)
Or should I start optimizing monetization now (better ads, placements, other methods)?

  • What works best for monetizing temp mail / utility sites?
  • Are there better ad networks than Adsterra
  • Do pop ads actually perform better in this niche
  • How do you increase earnings per user

I want to grow this into a high-traffic tool (50K–100K users/month) and turn it into a solid revenue source.

Would really appreciate any advice, real experiences, or even blunt feedback
Still learning and figuring things out.

Hey,

For those of you who run apps or products in the cloud (AWS, GCP, etc.),

I'm trying to figure out how small teams or people who aren't experts handle deployments and costs.

Was it easy or hard to set up your app in the cloud?

How do you keep track of how much you're spending in the cloud?

Have you ever been shocked by your bill?

Do you use more than one tool to track costs and deploy, or just one?

What's the most annoying or time-consuming thing about managing your cloud setup

What do you not like about those tools?

Also curious:
If you could replace your current setup with something simpler, what would it ideally do for you?

Not trying to sell anything, just looking into real problems.

I'd love to hear what you have to say.
