Epic Games Virus
Back in like 2021 I downloaded epic games launcher and wanted to download Fortnite as obvious as it is. But when I downloaded it a programme named "BOINC" with a fire as its icon popped up to be downloaded as well. And since I was young I thought that that was a necessary programme that needed to be downloaded so Fortnite could run as well. And after I downloaded it I noticed that my PC's CPU was at 100% of usage which was weird to me back then but my mom told me "It means that your PC's doing your best." So I brushed it off for a while but came back to it and got the programme uninstalled with the help of my older step-brother. It turned out that programme was using my PC to mine crypto or something similar. I remember that when I put my cursor on its icon it would say "You're giving to charity." or something like that.
My whole reason for writing this is to see if anybody else has had this programme installed on their PC.
