I'm on vacation in the smokey's and I heard a dog crying all night in the woods and In the morning I finally found it and got it to relax and follow me I called the owner on the collar and nobody answered 6hrs later the owner called and said to leave the dog outside "she does this often" the dog is dirty hungry clearly distressed and the owner wants me to throw the dog back in the woods? I looked up the address of the number and the owner lives 12 min away up the mountain mind you the dog has been going in circles crying all morning she's clearly hasn't been home in days.. do ai just leave the dog outside? I'm planning to drive the dog closer to its home.
