Hey all,

I started this classic beholder with a matte black primer, and due to my limited color selection I ended up dry brushing on Vallejo desert sand for the base. (Yes, I know my dry brushing technique is not great.) I was hoping to get some advice or suggestions on colors to put on top of the desert sand to make this more interesting, or at least avoid a complete disaster.

Please help!

Edit: If all else fails I could just try covering the yellow with a purple I have and try going that way with it.
